Dear British Car Enthusiast:
We would like to take this opportunity to
acquaint you with the BRITISH CAR CLUB OF
GREATER CINCINNATI .
We are a group of about 100 people who share
an interest in owning, driving, looking at
and talking about British cars.
Some of us drive our cars daily while others
wait for a sunny day. A number of the cars
are show-winning specimens ,
others may be undergoing restoration , and
some are "as-is" . You are sure
to have something in common with our membership
.
We have monthly meetings that give us a chance
to share ideas (and frustrations) , examine
other cars ,
and learn from informative presentations
. The club also has a monthly newsletter
(a good source of information on what's happening
with British cars)
and monthly events ranging from club drives
to picnics , ralleys , or shows. We also
co-sponsor the popular "BRITISH CAR
DAY" each year.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday
of each month , September thru May - June
thru August & the December meetings
are held at varying locations which will
be announced in the newsletter .
We have a social hour and dinner from 6:00
till 7:00 followed by a business meeting
and tech session.
Since most of the British cars in the area
are no longer in production , it is important
to have other owners as a source of information,
parts , or maybe an extra hand in preserving
our hobby.
THE BRITISH CAR CLUB provides you with a
forum to share your skills and ideas with
others and maybe pick up a few pointers along
the way.
Since we cover all marques , you are sure
to find someone who has had experience with
your particular type.
We invite you to join our group . Come to a meeting first if you like and see what we are all about .
The dues are $20 per year to cover costs of printing and mailing of the newsletter as well as other expenses,
